Just for reference, for those who buy the Spoon LSD, you will need the Spoon VSS.

 

.....iirc, it should come with it if your bought new.

I had the same problem when I bought a used ATS LSD.....

So I had to shell out another $80 for a new ATS VSS gear.

yeah i bought mine used as well :/

at least you can say you have an ATS VSS! j/k haha. now..if those people i've emailed would just email me back for a price haha

clutch type LSD(aftermarket) has different size gear for the speed sensor. the one on the right is the "aftermarket" speedo

 

I have this problem. I have a second hand Spoon LSD to fit into an EP3 Civic Type-R UK version, I am having no luck with Spoon Sports Europe. Anybody know where I can get the correct VSS from ??

 

that's a good question since opak racing just went belly up (from what I heard)

i figured spoon europe would know better?

 

Try contacting InlineFour.com. I know that they have good ties with Spoon Japan, and they can most likely source the part for you. I'm sure it will cost a premium though.
