crank should be fine.

yes bigger cams for more power, and the springs and retainers to go with them.

lol...ouch!

I'm sure a good machine shop could put new valve seats in there and maybe do some welding.

should be fixable, but not useable in its present condition.

previous owner was racing someone and he down shifted instead of up I think!!

So when u do pistons!! Do the sleves come with them? Why do I need sleves? Cant I just get the forged pistons! Or will the cylinder walls wont handle a lot of boost?

Hey dude! Sounds like your heads in the right place! Most of the info you've asked about is searchable!

The only thing I'd watch out for! Is yelling everything! Thats a damn lot of exclamations! Hope you find what you're looking for!

theres only one brand of pistons i know of that dont require iron sleeves.. mahle gold series.

but yeah the stock sleeves arent that great for boost.

and no, sleeves dont come with the pistons.

read some of the faqs theres a ton of info in there.

Thats where you're wrong Rosko. There's absolutely nothing wrong with boosting with the stock sleeves. They can handle 300hp all day long - and probably more.

The mahle Gold series pistons would be good for him if he's only boosting up to that range. I'm sure they both will be able to handle more, but to be on the safer side, i'd get it sleeved if you're thinking about passing 300whp.

I didnt say there was anything wrong with it, I just said it wasnt a good idea. He never said his goal was 300hp, only to run 15-20psi of boost which imo could easily go past 300hp with the right setup.

^^^ why'd you even post?

We're trying to give the guy some pointers. Yes, he can go search, but don't waste a valuable post by telling him to post.

Anyway, go to the prelude essential links.

^^ right back to you^^

all you did was waste a post on me, and then tell him to go to the essential prelude links. your post is no better than mine where i told him about the forced induction page. I even said, "not trying to be a dick" so dont start an argument. You and i both know you can type h22 turbo into the search bar and get a ton of returns with more than likely the answers to what hes asking. "Pointers" fine, but each pointer comes with new questions. till finally youve just recapped 4-5 threads that already exist and could have been read had he searched.

"Pointers"
-yes sleeve, i wouldnt run more than 10psi on a stock h22 block
-what sleeves, it all depends on budgest and app (daily driver, weekend warrior, strip car). SEARCH the forced induction thread and others to see whats best for what app

I do not like to flame and yell search search, but i know this info is already out there.

oh blueBB4lude, you made me LOL...reminds me of my ricer days

anyway i hate it when people say ahhh if you're not gonna run more than 7 psi or 300whp you don't have to sleeve your block, because you can only pick 2....

cheap/reliable/fast
