I had a brake caliper on my car that was frozen for who knows how long. The rotor/pads were not wearing at all, so I got down there, and sure as hell...frozen.

Trust me, just buy a new caliper. Most auto parts stores can get you OEM-reman calipers for like $50-$60 with a core charge. I would highly suggest doing this. You usually cannot unfreeze a caliper...if you do play with it enough, you may be able to get in unfrozen, BUT, once rust is there...it's there, and it WILL REFREEZE.

So, just buy a new caliper...it's the safest thing you can do
