Default Timing Belt Wear normal?

Hey guys i just checked my timing belt out on my b16a and there is some visual wear. On one side the belt is worn. looks like it rubbed on something. Does it have to be replaced or will it be okay? Its like 1-2mm in on the belt. It doesnt look major but i am not sure. What would cause this?

THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL PIC. THIS PICTURE SHOWS SIMILAR WEAR. MINE IS NOT AS BAD BUT IT IS SIMILAR.

Thanks

i would replace it if you haven't done so. a snapped timing belt usually leads to several bent valves..
