Default Boost vs All Motor

ok guys listen. i wasnt sure if this is in the right forum or not but here goes.

As we speak im in search for a DC2 shell so i can start working on my street/track *****. and i want to start researching parts and figuring out exactly whut parts i wanna use. the only thing i havent been sure of yet is to go either all motor or with boost. i bet there have already been 1500 other posts about this but i couldnt find them. my main purposes for this car will to be a every other day driver, and be able to whoop *** on a back road, not to mention i def. want to start doing autoX this year. so any info with pros and cons for each or links to other threads would be great. thanks in advance guys

In my opinion All motor would be better for autoX, You'll have a pretty even amount of power through-out the RPM band. This is of course true if you call boost a turbo charger. With a turbo charger you might have to wait for it spool. If however, it is a supercharger, you'll have more power ALWAYS. Stomp on the gas and you have power.

Not in attack towards you by any means, but my opinion in general is that anyone looking to do this:

is a wimp and scared of real competition and of getting beat by being out driven at something like an autox. I know it may be hard to accept, but "whooping *** on the back road" is a contest of stupidity, not one of driver skill or car prep. It's your choice if your goal is to do well in such a contest. And this is my opinion and yes it is my opinion.

The best advice has already been given by jeffhaut and by SOHC4life 96 as well.
