but just for your info boost will be better run 5-7psi and have fun. but it all depends on what your goals are and what you see your self doing in this car.

Wrong wrong wrong wrong.. If you boost, stay just under 250 whp to maintain DD. Boost level has nothing to do with it. Once you get over 250whp, you start to push the reliability of the motor.

Re: (Syndacate)
yeah, B series blocks are better for boost, more WHP with less PSI.
i would say 300whp is attainable with a really good tune, but a 300whp civic is hardly streetable.
get a mild turbo setup, it'll be alot cheaper than N/A, and you'll be faster.

I would say with a B18c1, lets say, 300 whp is attanable dd. Although I have seen a 385 whp b16, COMPLETELY STOCK. I don't remember the exact set-up, all I remember was he was boosting at 15 psi.

wrong wrong my *** wtf. what do you think pushing 5-7psi will get you ?? what the expletive do you think boost does? what made you the expert to state that 250whp is safe on his engine setup?
like i stated before find out what your goal is, street daily or strip then build accordingly dont just boost your car until you get to 250whp then figure out what you want

Your an idiot. 250 whp on a stock b16 is pushing reliablity as a dd. PSI has nothing to do with it. And he will NOT reach 250 whp on 5-7 psi. Please inform yourself before you post.
