help! oil catch can install.
ok today im gonna instal my catch can and now im wondering should i hook it up to the pcv hose or to the valve cover hose? pics will help to if any out there.
I drilled and tapped a hole in the front of my valve cover then did some creative welding inside, so that oil doesnt' just blow strait outta the motor. I'm out of town right now so i cant post the pic of the job, but i mounted the can to a plate i welded near the radiatior reservoir. the ran some AN fittings and a thick *** steel braided line to the can. Looks to good and is more functional the that little line coming out of the back.
ok next im wondering if oil is more likly to go into the IM from the pcv valve or through the valve cover vent, im wondering witch one will work better for me to hook up to the catch can, without making new holes, im feelin more if i use the pcv valve hose. but help me out guys.
Im from South Africa, i bought a greddy oil catch tank (can) and Ive fitted the tank on the drivers side, now what i cant figure out is, how do i connect it? where do i connect it 2? etc. Ive searched everywhere that i can think of on the net and no results. Im driving a D15 civic. If anyone can help and if there r any pics available pls let me know a.s.a.p.
Thanks.
Thanks.
