same here... throwout bearing bad, clutch still in A+ shape otherwise. sounds like a squealing belt, and a vibration in the clutch pedal.. Centerforce bearing - $40... about 200-300 for a shop to install...

what does it do? am i in trouble or is it fine? doesn't seem to affect performance. yeah, the sound seems to change high and low pitch with the turn signal on. will it be safe to run like this? (don't want to go through the hassle of taking the tranny again)

I had what seems to be the same problem on my 94 GSR....kinda sounded like a cricket down in the tryanny when I was letting the clutch out. Replaced the PP, friction disk, and Throw Out bearing....noise went away. I'd say you have nothing to worry about until it starts getting louder. It's the bearing going bad and yes, eventually, it will fail, but I think you will have plenty of warning, and its gonna take a long time.....my advice though....replace it asap.

I dont know if this would really make a difference in this case, but did you grease the mainshaft and release bearing with high temp urea grease?

no, it was kinda dirty and i just put a new one in, there is like a gap of empty space on the clutch pedal before you can feel pressure, i think the empty space is causing it to wiggle and make the noise cause when i slightly tap it to a bit of pressure, the noise goes away. can you adjust the dept of the clutch pedal, too much empty space.
