Coolant Reservior overflow causing overheating...

Ok my uncle has a eg 4 door it's all stock automatic. The car keeps overheating and coolant reservoir overflows. He just put a brand new t-stat, radiator with brand new cap and still the same problem. Help would be very appreciated.

Have you done a leakdown test? May have a blown headgasket.

No I haven't. I don't have a leakdown tester but I do have a compression tester I'll post the update. Anymore ideas would be helpful as well.
on my b18c, my idle started surging so i popped the hood to adjust the idle and there was coolant everywhere. it was all pushing out the coolant overflow tank. I replaced the head gasket and it fixed it right up.

Air bubble in teh cooling system?
COuld heat up expand, push coolant out into overflow. Cools down, sucks it back in.
Does the overflow tank drain after cooling down? Any erratic temp guage behavior?

I always been under the impression that if your coolant overflow overflows then the headgasket is bad. Compression test might tell you if it blown, leakdown test would for sure. But I understand not having a leakdown tester.
More than likely, it's your headgasket. If you want, you can try to run the car without a thermostat and see what happens. At least that'll eliminate the possibility of it being the thermostat, although most people will still say it's the headgasket.
BTW, are your fans turning on at the correct time?
Also try bleeding the system.

yeah I was thinking it's the headgasket too. I'll try running it without the t stat and see what happens. and yes the fans are turning on at the correct time and I bleed the coolent system already
stick your nose up to the radiator w/ the cap off, alot of times if its pushing exhaust out the radiator from a blown head gasket you will know by smelling it. also, i wouldnt rule out the water pump, the impellar blades could be completely gone and not moving any coolant. also make sure the fan is working. just because its pushing coolant out the overflow your not garenteed to have a blown head gasket, its designed to let the coolant flow into the overflow to relieve pressure so you dont blow the radiator and stuff.
check your oil to see if its milky (coolant mixing with oil) and also check to see if you are burning any coolant (white smoke). I think if you changed all that stuff then it is probally the head gasket. Check the waterpump?
i had this problem before my swap. head gasket was fucked. i had no oil in coolant or vice versa. let car run with out cap on and push throttle down a little and i bet old faithfull shoots up in yer eye
