Default KPH=MPH Readouts the same?

Had a JDM ITR cluster installed for about 3 weeks now (thanks Bert) and the novelty of yellow needles has worn off, and now it is slightly annoying looking at KPH all the time.

I think I read on here that you can put a resistor in a wire and it will read in MPH?

So my question is, how can you make a KPH cluster read out the speed in MPH?

Thanks

i think you'd need to teach it how to multiply by 1.6

i've never heard this before though, be interesting if you could do it but it sounds like it'd be a little more involving then just putting a resistor on a wire. how would that affect your odometer as well?

I have heard such a thing but don't know where to get it. What I did was just make a chart. After about 2 weeks it just became completely natural. Oh, yeah the coolness of the yellow needles does wear off. I got rid of my JDM cluster, than got the UK cluster, and now I have the Spoon cluster. That thing never gets old.

Wow, I figured everyone would know this from video games. Anyway, 80 kph = 50 mph and 160 kph = 100 mph... think about it times 1.6

it's about time that the USA joined the rest of the world and started using the METRIC system

Yes I know that, but I am a Lit major, hence I stay away from numbers as much as I can.

Its just that if I see a cop coming I would rather know the speed I am going before he informs me.

All jdm itr clusters only go to 180kmph. Other countries clusters go higher. Like my UK cluster went to 270kmph. My Spoon one goes to 240kmph.
