Default Camberkit question

Does anyone have or has installed this type of front camber kit - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1

maby not that make but that style.... i just got some and im thinking bout it when there installed.. and im doin a 2.25" drop... and with this kit wont that cause the upper A arm to hit the upper frame support behind the fender? becasue it makes that A arm come out that much more?

2.25" isnt that low,you dont need a camber kit...,,,just get an alignment when your done and you'll be fine..

2.25" is not that low,,and its probably not the camber thats eating the tires,,,its the toe,,get an alignment and have it set at 0 and you'll stop eating those tires..

Personally, my Azenis last ~12,000 (and a hundred or so autocross runs) with -2.5° of camber... so if your tires are lasting 1000 miles, your toe is f'd up.

Even if you have zero camber... if you dont fix your toe you will still lose your tires in 1000 miles...OK, maybe 1500.

Now with all that said, if you are really into drag racing, then having zero-ish camber might be a good thing.

I do mine at a race-alignment shop. Try other places. Just get zero toe, and enjoy... its true.

i agree with you, with experience. the front of my integra was slammed nasty, because i think i got "junk"2 lowering springs . it was lowered about 3" in the front, and my camber was horrible. last summer i put Azenis on, and 3000 miles later they still looked brand new. i need my hatchs camber adjusted because it is going to be used for drag racing.

I have had them on for the past 4 years without a problem, at full extention they will hit. So the best thing to do is not pull them out as far as they will go. what I did was have them set loose..push the arm up into the upper frame them pull them out, but leave yourself a little gap there, then tighten them down, and there you have it.

I hate mine, I cannot correct for my camber without hitting the frame. Thinking about trying the adjustable ball joints. Plust they're very poorley made. I would definately like to revert back to my stock upper pivot mounts.
