How many hp gain can i expect from the Spoon balanced pistons on my 98 ITR.
How many hours to install it ?

minimal at best
will take a few hours or days especially if you want to hone the walls before
installing them.

The general rule of thumb is 1% hp gain for every point of compression.
With the JDM/Spoon piston you should increase to 11.1:1 from 10.6:1 so you are looking at a maximum of 8 hp at around 8000 rpm (peak hp). If you decide to use them it would be a good idea to instal a thinner head gasket (2 layers) and bump the compression to 11.4:1 (while the head is removed).

unless you are bumping the CR by some it will be minimal!

it should be more like about 2% for every point, but a point = 1.0, not 0.1

You'll probably see 2hp if you're lucky.
Maybe more if you got larger cams.

Thank for the clarification. I was never sure what was implied by a "point" and I always assume it was 0.1 (and we all know what they say about assuming...)
