Default valve adjuster screw

well i had a lil bit of valve tap on my da so saturday i addressed the issue, i did everything by the manual but on the number 1 cylinder, i couldnt get the adjuster screw loose after loosening the luck nut, i tried everything i could to get it to break loose but i started to get very frustrated, anyways i went along and adjusted the other 15 valves, all exhaust were spec'd to .007 and intake .005, but that one is way off! i put every thing back together and started the car, and it was making a irritating ticking sound from that one valve, so i took it all apart and tried to get it loose agian but no luck, so i spec'd every thing all over again and sma sound coming from number 1 cyl area, is there anyway that i can get that screw loose without having to take it acura dealer and have them do it, it seemed really ceased! any pointers?
