i have a 90 integra ls and i was wondering if i could get any b16 head like b16a, b16a2 or b16b and does it matter what car i get it out of cuz im trying to get ls v-tec and im also having a hard time finding a ls v-tec valve cover and i was wondering if i should just shave my valve blank and then just get some stickers that say ls v-tec cuz i have seen a ls v-tec cover before but i can not find it on the internet

 

i have a 90 ls and i just did full sir swap(b16) 1100 motor, tranny, ecu, clutch, flywheel, start, alt, etc from http://www.sunrisejdmmotors.com and shop install for me nice set up to, because a ls/convo is a ls motor with gsr parts, waterpump, pulleys, timing and so to make it a complete conversion

 

yeah i know all about the engine swap websites and all that cuz i was going to do a b18c in ls at first but then someone told me ls v-tec is a very nice set up so i was just trying to get a b16 head and trying to get the valve but you do have a pretty nice set up and thanks for your in put but if i wanted to do a swap i'd try and go for the b18c5 or k20a

 

your welcome bro...yeah if i could i would rebuild my blown ls and do a ls/convo but yeah a k20 in a da it would be sick no doubt but to each his own

 

how much was your set up and yeah k20 would be sick but the motor and everything else is like 5,500 + and if you don't know how to drop it in your car it will cost another couple grand to get it professionally done my car is already pretty quick but i want it to be a lil bit faster then it is you got any pics of your set up or your car?

 

1700-1800 all together and i havent quite got her back yet, just recently did it but once i do get her back i will post them....plus the shop i did it at cut me a good deal on the install

 

did you get the first gen or second gen sir i or sir ii? but that's tight that they cut you a deal

 

sir 1 ...sir 2 would have been a lot more to ship...and i believe fist gen 88-91

 

oh yeah i just looked o well the sir ii only had 10 more hp for 500 dollars not worth it could just get exhaust or intake and make up for that 10 hp
