New personal best in the 1/8..........97mph!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last night went to a 1/8 mile track down in NC. Ran a new personal best and its the second time I have had the car at the track.
here is a little rundown of the slip:
60' 1.94
E.T 7.748
MPH 97.102
These runs were done on a B18C with basically a drag turbo kit on 10psi and full exhaust very simple setup. Also the slicks I use are over 6 years old and are to small 22x8x15" but they kinda work

hahaha I do want to turn it up just a little. Hey Howard how about you sponsor me????
Hey atleast give me your old slicks off your car!!!!!!!
My engine is running nice and loose now hahaha!!! I just changed my oil pan gasket so Ill stop dumping oil out all over the underside of my car, and put in some fresh oil and a new filter. That means Ill pick up atleast another mph or 2 lol

Honestly Im not sure what to expect in the 1/4. My mph is really good from what I know on my current setup in the 1/8. Once I get into 3rd gear she is MOVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or it feels like it atleast. I would say that I could run 11.7's or so maybe better with some good slicks not sure on mph though in the 1/4?
Nice times and trap! Should get a 11.7 at about 119-120mph. Work on the 60ft and you could get 11.5's easy. I went 7.4's at only 94mph with a 1.6 60ft. Actually I got 1.6 60ft's on the same slicks your running so just work with them a little

Hey nsxmatt what was your launch technique and what gear did you do a burnout in? Im doing 3rd gear burnouts and it gets them smoking pretty good of course but Im thinking that might be to much possibly? My slicks may hook a little better if they were newer but they are really old.
I always did 1st gear burnouts and it heated it fine. I launched at about 8k with a hint of preload/slip then let it go. That would be for a good prepped track. Some tracks I would be lucky to hit a 1.760ft and would have to launch lower which may be the case at yours. My slicks were about 2 seasons old and still hooked good when I went to 13" 22x8's but yeah if yours are very old you might source a new set.
I do 3rd gear burnouts and heat them up good haha. Im not sure on my launch RPM because I never pay any attention. I just hear the engine and kinda know that is sounds about right if you know what Im saying
I always preload but I dont slip it enough I dont think. Im still getting a little used to the Competition Clutch Stage 5 that I have in there so I think I could possibly slip it a little more.

No this was at Roxboro. My first run at that track I had to fight my car all the way down the track and actually managed to get about a 2.34 60' that run hahaha. If I were running at Piedmont my times would be better I know it.
