Check Engine code 9 problem
Hi, I'm new to the forum and here is my first post. I've been having this problem since I made my H22 jdm swap 1 year ago and haven't been able to fix it, allready going to give up if i don't find the solution...
A little background on the car first and the swap it was done, maybe this could help does that know help me out...
It was a f22a1 engine with automatic tranny the car is 1995. It was swaped with a jdm h22a 1995 engine and tranny, also ecu was changed to a p13. The engine wiring was cut and mixed with the original car harness. Engine runs, car runs, but it feals kinda weak for a h22 engine.
My ecu reads the code 9, cyp sensor. I changed the ignition, bought a new jdm h22a ignition from king motor sports... still reads code 9, changed timing belt and checked engine timing, still reads code 9... tried with another p13 ecu, a p72 and a chipped p72 and it still reads code 9. Someone told me when you did this swap from auto to manual you had to change some cables in the wiring, I have no idea what cables i have to change, Ive looked at wiring diagrams, and havent been able to find a jdm h22 diagram only american... maybe someone could help me out here... thx

Hey man check and recheck all of your wires that you cut and spliced. Also open up your distribuitor and check the sensor and everything in htere as well.
