I keep getting the code for the vehicle speed sensor on my ob0 to 95 ls swap. WTF? The factory obd0 setup on my car sends a signal from the speedo to the ecu, what is the difference bewteen that signal and the signal the 0bd1 p75 ecu is supposed to see?

I know plenty of you guys have swapped obd1 setups into older cars, what did you do about this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated..I'm really trying to avoid busting out an oscilliscope on this one..

 

obdo have cable vss while newer cars have electric if you are using a cable vss more than likely it is coming loose at the sensor make sure you got the c-clip on the cable end

 

well, if that was happening, the speedometer wouldn't work. It does. So assuming the wiring is correct, which I think it is because it doesn't always set that code right away, just usually at some point during a drive it will, I believe that whatever signal my speedo cluster is sending to the ecu is a little different from the signal the 95 integra would have. I have no idea how though, different frequency, waveform, etc.
I remember reading something about putting a resistor in line with the wire or something like that a while ago, but I don't remember specific enough info to get me anywhere..
