does it sound whiny and high-pitched? cuz i saw a fellow DA the other day w/ that same exhaust and his sounded annoying. i got custom and im happy w/ that...

bump to this thread.. i got a mega power skunk2 exhaust on my GSR and i love it. it does not sound whiny or high pitched.. it has a DEEP tone to it. REAL deep nice tone.

yup my friend just got the system for his gsr hatch. and my god is sounds fabulous. it gets reallly loud when you get into it but before that, the resonators keep it low and not raspy like a ricey sound. I like em...

Are you running a turbo application or a strong all motor application because if you arent i highly doubt you got any performace gains out of that exhaust... maybe a little less tq and a little hp +/-1

i just recently myself did the hks hi power went to that full catback set from a axle back dnx application and its a lot n better sounding and MUCH deeper, not weedwacker sound thats for damn sure but nice set bro

yeah it up till about 4k it is decent sound then get louder. Um no I don't have a turbo or anything but I drove for along time with a broken exhaust about a foot past the cat. Then it broke off at the cat so I had to fabricate a piece of pipe to go into the cat and into the other piece of pipe to stop it from dragging for a tempory fix.
So getting this exhaust I noticed a huge improvement in overall performance and the car seems to run so smooth now its almost weird. Given the fact I drove for probably 2 months with the broken exhaust.
RagingAlcoholic: Maybe he had a test pipe on it instead of an old cat like mine? I dont know if that would make it louder or not. I would think it would?
