Default Faux CF Interior Parts

Sorry to sound like a noob, but did the USDM ITR's come with the faux CF interior parts like they did everywhere else? I'm just wondering because the only part I'm missing is the USDM/UKDM LHD CF driver's side vent and I can't find one for sale anywhere. If anyone knows the part numbers for the LHD CF parts, please post them here ... I'm in dire need of replacement ones. I'm looking for the 98 spec ones (blue tint). Thanks.

'98 Spec ITR interior parts have a bluish tint to them.

Is that the one for the LHD one? Because I have a RHD one already and don't want to ruin it by cuttin it up.

what in the hell are you talking about? blue tinted faux cf interior pieces? i'm so lost. USDM Rs only had the interior faux cf pieces for 00 and 01. also, the passenger side vent is not faux cf. hope this helps.

The faux carbon pieces look the same in my '00 USDM ITR and '99 JDM ITR.

Think about it, people put the JDM passenger side window switch in their 00-01 USDM ITR's. If the faux carbon was a different color, it wouldn't match.

I'll pull off one of my USDM faux carbon pieces so I can take a side by side picture of the two the next time I'm in Japan. I'm curious of this "blue tint", since this is the first mention I've seen of it.

98 spec "blue-tinted" faux carbon...another itr X-file

i dont know guys...i've had about 6 or 7 types of itr clusters pass thru my hands in 4 years. two 96 spec spoon clusters, a 96 spec jdm itr cluster, 98 spec jdm itr cluster, a 98 spec UDSM itr cluster and finally my stock one in my 01 itr. the faux carbon trim on all were the same "tint". wether you call it a grey or blue tint, they were the same...even the faux carbon climate control trim from a 97 jdm R my friend has is the same as my 01 usdm trim..go figure. maybe i just havent been paying that close attention? hmmmm..

I just did this! The ashtray is from the same car that the cluster noops has now, but when you see it beside the euro cluster (which has a JDM speedo in it and i took off the perspex to avoid glare from the flash) theyre different. The ashtray is grey/dark CF and the cluster has a blue tint to it...so i'm as confused as everyone else now.

The '98+ spec JDM ITR's came with the bluish tinted faux CF parts. The only reason I know this is because one of my friends has a complete set of them and we compared them with my reg tinted ones. He's outta town right now or I'd take pics of his compared to mine ...

The blueish tinted CF trim pieces came only on certain 00spec ITR's. Maybe even only offered to the ITRx models for that matter.

I've seen them floating around on Ebay now and then, but they are RARE! I'll try to get pics for comparisson.

Anyway, you won't find the blueish tinted CF trim for a LHD because it doesn't exist.

Honestly I saw some pieces with the tint on them and I thought they were fake. I'll keep my nontinted ones because they dont look "off" like the blue ones. The blue ones look more like they are a film i dunno how to explain it.
