I heard that the y8 IM has long runners and provides more air flow and the TB is 1mm wider in diameter compared to the a6 TB so I just wanna if the y8 head will fit the z6 head and also if I wanna go y8 IM and TB will I need to also use the y8 Fuel Rail and Injectors to match the head or is my a6 Fuel Rail/injectors good enough

the y8 manifold will fit a z6 head fine, it is known as the type-r of d-series manifolds, as for the throttle body being larger, i dont think thats true i thought all d-series were the same, i could be wrong though

 

Not all d series are the same, some crx era stuff is smaller, and the hf/cx/vx measure in at 40mm. I think you can get b series tbs to fit on the y8 im, but I'm not sure which and what their sizes are.

perhaps i should introduce you to my d15z1 TB

 

I mentioned that it was 40mm, I have the same tb on my crx currently.
