Default Hydrolocked.

I was driving to a friends house last night and ran into a pretty deep pool of water and the car just died. Im not sure if its hydrolocked for certain. Im wondering what I should do; should I let it sit for awhile and dry up some? any advice would be helpful.

pull all the spark plugs before you try to do anything! then if there's water in the cylinders, and you try and turn it over, it'll come out instead of bending a rod (which you may have already done)

The water was little over ankle high. Yes I have CAI. Wouldnt the intire intake need to be submerged to get locked?

You could also have splashed water all of your distributor or some important wiring harness...

i just hydrolocked my s2k motor, i got oj compression 216 across, but leakdown numbers were 10-15% n each cylinder, and a hona mechanic said yo man those are good numbers and that honda doesnt have any set limits for leakdown.....ive found out hondas max leakdown limit is 10% and most dealers will tear down at 7%.

Did you take out the plugs and turn it over? If you didnt and tried turning it over you fucked it up even more.............

Depending on the damage to the motor I might start looking at a K swap. Anyone know of some good sites that offer the K20R motor?

Good luck on the repairs. I would verify the extent of the damage before proceeding.
