Default NOS Window Switch Question

Basically right now I'm running a 125 shot direct port of NOS on my engine. I wanted to set it so It'll only spray above a certain speed. Right now I have it hooked up to a window switch for certain rpm ranges. I was wondering if any company makes a window switch so you can set it to spray NOS above a certain speed.

there should be nitrous control units that can do it so it won't go in 1st, but when turned on, when u depress it all the way it'll launch X ammount / gear, that's the way I've always seen it done, usually low in 2nd gear if ur pushing an assload of hp, then usually a full spray by 3rd and if u make it to 4th..

I mean I know they're there, I've seen them, I've used them...never on a honda, but it shouldn't matter, most ECUs don't check the gear, I'm not sure how it was hooked up, I asume it was plugged into the ECU, but likewise, teh ECU doesn't know the gear so I'm a bit confuzzeled....but they definately have modules out there for nitrous control...sorry I dont' have more info, I just can tell you that they exist:-\

not to jack the thread but by the title it sounds like he was trying to use an actual window switch...
I was dissapointed to see a legitimate thread.
Carry on then!

I understand what you need. But can you illustrate a situation where this would be necessary?

in a quater mile drag race?

He wants it off in second because as everybody knows, you don't pop at 7k b/c u'll overspin the tires like expletive...so if he pops it at whatever he's got his launch control set to (3k or whatever the hell it is), pops it, and floors it, he'll get 125 shot of nitrous in 1st gear, talk about overspinning ur tires, u'll never get traction, the guy'll gain like 10 cars on u b4 u get into 2nd with traction

Easy. Just wire in a switch in line with the throttle switch. That way when the throttle is depressed in 1st, the circuit is not complete. Shift into second press and hold, or use a momentary switch and just press it to click to the down position and now the circuit is complete and nitrous sprays @ WOT. I thought that's how everyone did it on a budget.

why do u want it over a certain speed? Gears are so much more efficient...I've never heard of it done by speed, so can't help you..

Make sense?
