philips 4300k HID install instructions
1) unplug old bulbs.
2) find a place to mount the ballasts. for the pass side, some people put it on their ABS unit. on the driver's side, i dont know where everyone else put it. I just put mine against each fender, it fit fine.
3) Plug in power to the ballast (there is a power line running to ur old bulbs...just plug it into the ballast).
4) Install the HID bulb carefully, remember not to touch it with ur barehands.
5) replace stock headlight fuses with either a 15 or 20 amp fuse. stock is 10 amps and mine kept blowing. i went to 20 and i have no probs, some ppl choose to go w/ 15 amp fuses. i forgot the exact fuse, but if u look in ur fuse panel, u can figure it out....or u can just wait till the fuse blows and replace it then hehe
its really straightfoward if u look at it. also, apparently theres a rubber ring around the stock bulb..i never noticed but apparently this is what holds the HID bulb secure in the socket...one of mine was loose and wouldn't lock down, so I just duct taped my bulbs tight.
