RSX type s RSX type R brakes?????
I looking to find out if the rotors on a jdm dc5 type r with the brembo brakes are the same size as the usdm dc5 type s. I want to know cause i want to put the brembo calipers on my type s but i don't know if there is a difference, besides the bigger caliper. Bad part is I already bought new brakes all around before I thought of getting the type r suspension setup.

just wondering, is it possible for the DC5 R brembo brakes or calipers to be swapped on an ITR?

Mostly true...I wouldn't waste anytime trying to convert a DC5R brembo caliper to a DC2R knuckle...

Nope, the JDM ITR Brembos aren't the same size -- they're bigger. Their calipers are also bigger than stock (of course), and to account for their increased width, the offset is larger -- the ITR wheels have a +60 mm offset. Plus, the pads cover a larger area, not only all the way to the outside of the rotor but also nearly all the way in towards the center, too.
The rear brakes are effectively the same as stock, but the hub/brake hat is similarly taller to use the +60 offset wheels.

I'm going to get the type r wheels so thats really an issue anymore, but would you happen to have measurement i could compare stock to the brembo i know the stock discs are 11.8".
I don't remember the measurement -- maybe 12.5"? I mentioned the larger pad area as well, so the rotors end up with quite a bit more brake swept area than the stock type-s brakes.
If I see the number elsewhere, I'll try to remember to post it up here.
