every once in a while after i shut my car off it work start up again. after about 5 mins it start right up no probs . anyone know what could be the cost of this?. my gf said that when she had one back in 93 hers did the same thing. please help

I had a similar situation

get this, it was a slightly loose positive terminal on the batter. make sure the neg/pos terminals are tight

You could check a diagram and check for power coming out when the key is on...Or much easier- you feel for it, when you turn the ignition switch to on you should feel it/or even hear it click on then off until you crank the engine over, if you do not feel it click...bang on it with a screw driver or something solid, it should click on after a bit.....

 

it could be your ignition switch

 

i doubt it the car crankx and the CEL comes on but then goes on when it starts.
