There's no Hondata application for the S unless you have an 06. Put on the throttle body and header before you tune. VAFC should be ok with just bolt ons.

right on thanks, ohh and Ive found the spoon throttle and J's but i think the J's requires my intake to be port matched, I dont think i can trust anyone to do it here, any other throttle's you recommend? and is the J's header really one of the best( as far as pwoer gains go)

What are your purposes for the car? I have a 70/66mm TB as well, and no, my intake manifold didn't need to be portmatched, but the TB gasket needed a bit of trimming. The header is just preference, unless those 3-4hp really mattered to you, then go with J's, Toda, or Hytech.

The mods list you have is more than sufficient for a DD.

You want bite without boost? Get gears.

Hehehe.. well we were straying from the "tuning" part towards the "kick/bite" part.

Gears shouldn't affect the tuning itself, but would give you higher torque readings if the parameters aren't entered into the Dyno.
