Default Car smoking need help!!!!!!!!!!

I dont understand it when I drive my car under acceleration or just crusing I get no smoke at all it drives perfect. Lets say i let off the gas for a second and get back on it I will see smoke come out of my exhaust (bluish) and i smell oil definately but it only happens when i do this. Any Ideas????? Could it be my PVC valve?

Nope. You are burning oil my friend. Rings. It will eventually smoke all of the time. Time to do a rebuild!

to be quite honest with you guys, it isn't worth rebuilding. After getting head work, replacing parts, and so forth, you could have already bought a better motor. Ask anyone and I'm sure they will tell you the same thing. If you don't want to spend a ton of money, do a mini me swap or just buy a complete sohc vtec motor. If you have money to spend, just go Dohc. But this is just my .02 cents

I hear ya bro. My car is doing the same ****. Other than my headgasket went too!!! Rings arent too hard to replace. Spendy if you dont do the work yourself though.

I think you would be better off getting a newer block and forget paying the little bit more for a rebuild.

Actually I just had my motor rebuilt (3000 miles) and I fixed the problem this past weekend it was my PVC valve I put in a new one and all is solved I dunno about the rest of ya but give it a shot. All I need now is a Valve cover gasket they always got the sohc parts in da store but when you tell them its a dohc its always a special order part.
