Default Removing A/C?

Hi I just bought a R and I'd like to remove a/c and all it's component. I've looked in the search post and didn't saw any on that subject. I'd like to know exactly what can be removed and how to not loose any freon or break anything?

Thanks

You need to take out the condensor, too. It is the heaviest component of the whole system. Cut your A/C belt(that will free up a couple horses anyway), disconnect the wire harness coming out of it. The condensor itself is connected to the engine block via a bracket. I left the bracket on the car, I just removed the 2 large bolts holding the condensor to the bracket(14 mm I believe, but it was a year ago. You can have a shop remove the freon if you don't want to mess with it, won't cost too much.
