MOTOR SWAP QUESTION

I have a 96 USDM GSR motor ready to swap into my EK but I was wonderin if it is OBD1 or OBD2 , I have asked people but they have given me both answers. whats the correct answer? It looks like OBD2 to me but I am just making sure.

96 and below = obd1
97 and up = obd2

96-98= obd2a
99-00= obd2b

yes sir,

96-98= obd2a
99-00= obd2b

I figured this out the hard way. Just did a swap not knowing there were two different obd2's. I had a 96 civic ex. Swap 00 b16a2. I had to use my ex harness and obd2a to obd2b conversion harness. My lesson, know what your doing before you do it.
