Default Short shifter for 92 Accord

Is there a short shifter for a 92 Accord? If there is would it work with the h22 tranny? I see the OBX short shift adapter on ebay, but I'm not really sure about it.

sorry man I didn't quite understand what you said. Did you say that it will fit the h22 tranny? Since I can't find any other short shifter on ebay other than the OBX adapter, can I use a short shifter for a prelude?

yes, i think pspec and forbidden shortshifters can be made to work in 4th gens if they dont already make specific applications, also you can use any prelude shift lever for a little difference...

Id prob. go for the Neuspeed short shifter. Even tho you wont get the 'look' of a short shifter. I always wanted to get a prelude shifter (shorter by i think 1") installed plus a Neuspeed short shifter .. but I donno if the prelude shifter will be a bolt on or what .. and weither you need just the lever or the whole box.

I've heard an aftermarket short shifter is hard on the transmission. Don't know exactly why though.

hey i went and rigged up a short throw shifter and it works fine the neuspeed one worked even better but i cant use it on a 90 thats why i dont have it on and how will it hurt the tranny it just makes the throw on the **** shorter it is still the same on the tranny and also I just cut the shifter down right above the neuspeed kit and cut right below the threads and welded it took off a good inch and a half to make it look shorter also
