Average selling price for used ITR - what can I expect to pay?
as it sais, im getting ready to go for a R...kelly blue book has no values for the cars, so what can i expext to pay for each of the years, 97-01...thanks
Depends on condition and mileage. A car in crappy condition with 100K+ miles might go as low as $12-13K. A car in excellent condition with 30K miles might go as high as $18-19K.

Yep, that's pretty much the price range. Where your R falls in that range depends on the mileage and condition.
Time for the shameless plug, my '00 fbp is for sale.

no thats not true, I'd say average price is around 14-17k, my cousin just bought a fully built R for $16,000, and thats with a jdm front end
I bought my 97 ITR for $17,000 CAD.... so what, like 15 USD? (15 thou, pfffft lol)

Then you are agreeing with me. There are lots of cars whose condition and mileage falls in between the two extremes I mentioned. So yeah, the average price is in the $14-17K range. But a really nice one (like I described) may sell for $18-19K, and a really ratted out one (like I described) may sell for $12-13K. The $14-17K range you mention is right in between those two ranges.
What, did you think I was saying that you could only buy ITRs for $12-13K or for $18-19K? Reading comprehension 0wnz j00!

18.500 for my 2001 with 37,000....
came with: jdm front end, $2000 brakes and at least $2000 for the rims...a couple of other goodies....

Alot of the pricing is based off the year of the car. Rarely do you find a 00-01 under $15K. If you want a CW 97-98 I wouldn't pay more than $16K. And for $16K, I'd expect fairly low mileage, or excellent body, with none to few tasteful mods. That's just my .02
i payed $15,500 for my 2000 with 60,000 miles with no mods, bone stock, very clean body. now you know the price range get ready to travel because the nice ones usually aren't the closest.
ok so ive established selling prices...my next question is most peolpe dont have a blue book for the cars, what have you guys had banks loan on them....are they stingy or will they loan 17k on a type r
people are selling it more than what KBB listed??

Yes, I sold my 01 PY with 70k for 17k
Brand new fit doesn't even compare to one of these cars. I'd take a nice used R over a fit anyday.
