Default Fan Problem!! Help Please!!!!

hey everyone well this is my problem..

i bought my 93 Honda accord Lx over a year ago. everything was fine with it. in about oct i tryed to turn my heater on and all i got was cold air. so the first thing i thought was the T-stat.so i ended up changing that and also doing a flush.and still no heat. (all along it was the heat guage that was just stuck,so now i got heat)

Two days after doing all that when i was driving all around and i got home and turned off my car i noticed my Fans had kicked on. it was weird cuz it never did that before, even when i was riding it in 90degree temp in the summer.Remember its now Oct. it stayed on for about a minute then turned off so i didnt think nothing of it. so i left it like that for about a month.

after about a month i started to see my car start to over heat. the gauge would go about 3/4th up.i noticed that my fans wasnt kicking on while i drove the car.so i went to get a Pro flush and when i came out the shop it completely overheated. so i got my money back and they said maybe my water pump.

So first thing i did was change the T-stat again. i got a Tempeture B switch. the one on the top front Radiator hose. and still nothing. so i put the fans on direct and still the car overheated. so i went ahead and changed the Water pump. new timing belts, new negative battery wire. another new T-stat and still my fans wouldnt kick on.

so i took it to another mechanic and he put in Tempeture A swtich that he said wasnt working and also put in a Timer Fan (underneath the dashboard).wel it was fine for about a day and went back to the same thing. so finally he Blow thru my whole engine and all the hoses with a pressure hose of air to see if there was any blockage. well after trying to turn on the car if overheated faster then again. he found some crud in the radiator cleaned it out and now finally the fans had kicked on while the car is on and my car doesnt overheat at all. so after all that i put in a new Radiator and new Hoses also.my fans do kick on when am driving now but this is my problem...

When i turn off the car the fans stay on for about 5 or 6 minutes if am driving it for like 30minutes or so. then they will shut off and will turn back on again for another minute and turn off. about a week ago i ran it for about 45minutes and i timed it and it stayed on for about 12minutes. its like the more i ride it the longer it will stay on it seems. also i noticed it had killed my battery a couple times. (have checked relays also,i just moved them around and they all work the same so i guess there all good)

(so put in new battery and Alernator and still kills it) just dont get it at all. i have alot got a head test on it also and the heads are good. after me changing and doing all this what could be causing the fans to stay on after still? whats the damn problem already lol

i been at this for about 5months and put so much money into it. seems like am not geting anywere and dont want to give up after doing all this work.

Sorry for the long story but wanted to give it to you guys the way it happened and everything i did to it so maybe someone can figure it out. Thanks alot.

Does the engine still get overheated? If it runs at "normal operating temperature", I would think it was the fan timer or the coolant temp sensor.

There must be a sensor that's reading hotter coolant temp than it should be. Are you using Honda parts? My fan used to come on after the engine was shut off, but never for more than like 5 minutes. You may have more than one temperature sensor, can't say for sure. If I still had my 4th gen manual, I could look it up. Unfortunatly, it went with the car. Sorry.
