Default Swap Help EK w/ B18C1 + EG w/ D16Y8

I have a 1999 2-door, MT Civic that is looking to get a B18C1 Engine.

My friend has a 1994 2-door, AT Civic that wants my D16Y8

I talked to a technician and he said my old engine should fit in the 94', but I don't think that's what I've been hearing about the ECUs being compatiable.

I could use some help... does anyone know what I need from my 99 to transfer to the 94? She needs it to be Auto.

THanks

Well the engien will transfer without problem. I think your going to conver it from OBD2b to OBD1 and then run a P28 ECU. As for the tranny needing to be Auto her tranny will bolt right up to the Y8.
