New rotors old pads ?

The pads are only about 5 months old. They are Hawk HP pads with not much wear on them. Would I have any problems with them using the new rotors with the impurities from the old rotors ?

Buy some brake cleaner, spray down the pads, they'll be fine

yes make sure everything is clean, but also make sure to scuff the pads with a scotchbright pad or sumthing and also scuff the rotors up
