depends who you ask...

If you want VTEC go with the B1 head.

Others say the port geometry of the A1, A4 and A6 heads are a better choice. I don't remember if there is a difference in the heads on the A1, A4 and A6 but the intake manifolds, cams and I believe the exhaust manifolds are different.

You're better off to just pick up an F22B1 longblock and drop it in. They're a dime a dozen and it'll save you a lot of headache.

headache? its more of a headache to do a full swap.

an a6 head/IM/Exh. is not worth it, even tho you will feel gains. You're better of goin with an h23 IM/tb and exh mani.

I dont remember exactly, but i think the INTAKE ports on all f22's are the same. if so, then you can easily get ahold of all h23 intake components and swap it over for less than 200. its also a lot easier than a full swap.

nope, the F22Ax intake ports are the same as the H23. But the F22Bx and F23Ax intake ports are different. I don't know about the F23Ax heads, but with some modifications you can mount the H23 IM to the F22Bx heads.
