Default Differential or Clutch?

I went to the track yesterday and i miss-shifted pretty bad from 3rd to 4th. I couldnt get into into gear so i coasted down the track. Once i managed to get it into gear i noticed a bad clutch shatter at low speeds. I did a burnout and then couldnt go forward. I check out the axles and they're physically not broken. Now i cant move at all. I can put it into any gear without hitting the clutch. If i put the tranny in 1st gear and push the car, it moves like its in neutral. I dont see any physical damages on the casing of the tranny.
There was a big scent of "clutch" the whole night. Could i have broken my differential or could it be my clutch?

tranny is a y21 JDM b16 w/o LSD
thanks for any advice/info.

but y would he be able to just slide the shifter in gear w/o resistence and the car just stays in neutral??? im trying to figure out what the expletive happened... cuz a friend of mine had the same happen to his ls tranny...
the **** was just a loose joystick that wobbled and didnt do anything in any gear... just stayed in neutral... he ended up just getting another tranny...

im sure you dont wanna hear that cuz you gotta nice tranny... but i think thats it bro

Sounds like you blew the tranny good. Also what's your Rev limiter?? casue I've seen alot of "Tough guys" that'll remove they rev limiter, then rev the **** out of them to be cool.......then the next day they're bring them into my shop with Bent valves. So if you missed your gear Bad, as you said, and it reved out Really High.......you could have bent valves......just a thought

This is a clutch-related problem. The fact that you can easily select a gear with the engine running and the clutch out indicates that the transmission input shaft is not spinning, so it is not being connected to the engine by the clutch.

No, the throw out bearing has NOTHING to do with this problem. It is likely the clutch disc fell apart

what about this one? shift linkage came partially loose. happened to me once, wasn't sure what the F happened. it wasn't all the way loose, i could get it in 3rd and 4th if i was lucky, but not any other gears at all. had to limp it home in 3rd gear

Pulled the axles and they were fine. Pulled tranny and this is what i saw.

Debris inside the tranny.

ACT street disc

ACT presure plate, not sure if its HD or SS, came with my swap.

Time for a new clutch.

#1 - clutch disc material that basically fell apart.

#2 - the actual clutch disc itself.

#3 - pressure plate.
