i need an mount for my d16 to fit in my 91 crx hf, does anyone know where i might be able to find one?

 

I'm sure any auto parts store can order one for you. Go down to your local autozone or pepboys and ask them if they carry motor mounts.

 

i did and they said that i might have to have one custom made

 

which one is it? If they don't got it the honda dealership does. Is this for a D series swap? If so I'm pretty sure you can use the same mounts no problem.

 

its the mount on the engine, the one near the driver side tire well, i have the mount from the engine going in and the engine that came out but neither of them fit right, thery are designed totally different, its a 97 vtec from an ex into my 91 crx hf

 

That mount (if on a/c bracket) only is used for the 92+ Civic, and not the 88-91.
You can just use the stock 88-91 AC bracket along with the stock 88-91 AC pump.

 

there is no A/C bracket mount on my car, there was in the ex but not on my crx and im not even running A/C

 

jus go to the junk yard...

 

i cant, i have the mount from the original engine and my new one but neither of them will line up with the body and the engine at the same time

 

You should be able to use the stock 88-91 CRX. I have the stock mounts w/ the d16z6 motor. Just order them from autozone or advance, I know they carry them.
