LEAK!! Waterpump Center Area - Where could it be coming from???
SO I go to fill up my car with fluids again today get to the rad. All full. Got under the car and noticed a few drips on my shirt
Theres a leak somewhere coming from the waterpump area, small as ****, maybe 1 drip every 15 seconds
Its coming form the bottom right corner of the pump, not where it meets the block on that seem but it is in a bit, like its coming from the inside of the pump, where the hell can it leak from there?
I tried checking everything but its so hard to see right there, got my top timing cover off, alt moved back and I just cant see where its coming from, i can see where it drips but I just cant stop the dripping
How do I find this leak and where could it be coming from?

The weep holes on my D16z6 are both slowly leaking coolant. Are you sure this is a sign the water pump is about to go?
Will it hold up for 2-3 sessions of hard driving at a road race course (10-15 minutes per session)?

Are you looking for a internet warranty? Nobody can predict whether or not your car is going to overheat especially if you know one of the bolts is missing and it's dripping coolant on the ground. I'd fix it unless you want to risk overheating your engine.
LOL, I should have expected a dumbass response like this in the general forum.....
No where in my post did I say I had a bolt missing. Do you even know what the weep holes/passages are? I'm guessing not. Just another H-T, e-mechanic. :fart:
I found quite a few intelligent responses in another sub-forum on here.
Cheers, to the H-T re-tards.

Second, I have far more education and experience than you do.
If you want to risk overheating your engine that is your deal.
First of all, you hijacked the original posters thread so I thought you were him, who does have a bolt missing so you obviously didn't read his post you just jumped into his thread and asked your own question.
