I'm always looking to have some tires mounted and balanced(because i'm a wheel *****) as i'm sure most of you are also. I wanted to start a thread to see who has the cheapest prices to do this.
I live in the 626 in Socal.
Post up City, State, and the company who you think has great prices and service. Telephone #'s would help to.
PepBoys
$10 mount
$11 balance

Good find 95GSRRR... i live just down the street from them. Can you answer me one question about that shell station though. Why in the hell is there gas like .50 cents more expensive than anyone else nearby? That station is always overpriced. Does it come with a dub sack or something?
Anyone else wanna list some good places also?

most independent tire shops do it for $10 each tire bro! Some might charge $2 per tire though for environmental waste fees. I'm in La Puente and there's a gang of foos down here that do it for $10. One guy doe sit for $7 each tire, but its not computer balanced.

i mean not every store does, but A LOT do. perez tires last time charged me $15 each tire for a mount and balance, and didnt even install it on the car. That was $5 extra, which I thought was bogus.
personally, go somewhere that is close to you. go to the yellow pages, search for tire shop, call the closer ones, and voila. Don't spend your money and time by driving around for a good deal. if the employees decently know what they're doing, you should be fine cuz mounting and balancing is practically the same everywhere. However, other places have more "high-tech" machines, but they all do the same thing. If u need more places and don't mind going down to the west covina/baldwin park area, there's plenty.
talk about the santa fe dam.... haven't been there in ages. someone should organize a meet!

This thread was intended to get prices and such for HT members and myself. I didn't find a thread like this so I just wanted people to get idea's on prices and services because i know that some places are just overpriced.
I think JUST TIRES charges like $25 each tire mount and balance and I think America's Tire Co. is not far behind them.
Just wanting people to become educated and save their money on more useful things. Saving $40 on a set of tires is almost 2 tanks of gas!

there tons of places in pomona on holt that do it for $20-25 for all 4 wheels and you dont need no "hookup". that includes removing your old tires, putting on the new ones, balancing all of them, and throwing away your old tires
