msd 6al help

i have a obd1 ls swap in a hf crx i wanted to know where do i connect the white and the smaller gauge red wire

Small red goes to wire from stock coil +. White wire goes to wire from stock coil -.

inside the distributor under the cap connected to the stock coil.
