Default Eliminating wheel hop

i've done some searches and read a few threads but i wanted to maybe have and end all be all thread about this since it can be an issue w/ everyone. hell maybe even a sticky? i'm making this post to learn and hopefully help others.

well i think that it would be ok to say that a typical goal of a DD/weekendwarrior car would be(as far as wheel hop) to eliminate it as much as possible while keeping the in cabin vibration to a minimum. so far i've gathered that these types of suspension upgrades will lessen your wheel hop.

motormount inserts
motor mounts
traction bar
H brace
sway bar
new suspension
new bushings
engine dampener

with all those on a car..will the in cabin vibration be hectic for DD? the goal i'm sure most are aiming for is least wheelhop/least in cabin vibration. i am by far no expert hence the reason for the thread.

which motor mounts would be the "easiest" for a strictly street car, by easiest i mean most gentle(?) while being an upgrade from stock.

Please post your opinions on brands of each of these types of upgrades. if one of them won't help w/ the problem or there is more that can be added to help please list them and i will add them to original thread.

As for me, i've read the Comptech vs ASR hbrace thread and i believe it was tested that the ASR brace held up someone better than the comptech(correct me if i read it wrong).

Also 2 brands that was commented on about traction bars were the Full-Race traction bar and the L-con traction bar.

The rebound damping of your shocks will also have effect on wheel hop, even if it is not the actual cause of the wheel hop vs. helping reduce the symptom.

More rebound will resist the rapid downward motion and more compression damping can slightly resist rapid upward motion. You don't want to screw up your handling or grip to deal with wheel hop caused by geometry or drivetrain motion but adjustable rebound damping can be used to a degree for more control.

Well, I can tell you that new mounts are a bit extreme. I replaced all my lower mounts with JimFab mounts. I'd say it eliminated about 90% of my wheel hop problems.

However, the inside of the car is deafeningly loud and I can't drive it without cranking up the music. The car wakes up my neighbors in the middle of the night when I try to drive to the gym. People tell me it sounds like a lawnmower.

I guess it vibrates more too, but I don't care at all about that. It's just the noise that makes it so intense. If I cruise at 65 mph on the freeway, it sounds like I have an open downpipe. Yeah, it's loud.
