Hi guys, need some help. My car (Accord 02) won't start. It doesn't crank and when I try jumpstarting it, it starts but my alarm (stock) goes off. On that note, when I connect the battery terminals to the jumper cables (to a jump starter thingamajig) it already goes off. I turn off the engine, and I'm back to square one. Can any one help me out?

 

Measure battery voltage while it's running, and immediately after you turn it off. If the voltage drops quickly after you turn off, your battery has just died (can't hold it's charge). More complicated ideas after you check for the easy stuff.
