allllllllllways wondered why the back of the hoods sticks up like a ****... and it's not always when the car is parked otherwise i'd assume it opens from the rear, i've seen some cars driving with the back of the hood raised like this. stupid question i know, but i never could understand why

its a hood prop, and its pratical purpose is to vent heat out of the hood and make room for ITB's...But most dont have either problem and just want to look cool

 

looks like the car got in an accident. I dont like the way it looks no matter how JDM it is

 

i always thought there was something wrong with the hood alignment, or a blind man installed it.

again, the hood prop doesn't let heat out, it forces air in.

 

its the same as the chrome plastic JDM gas cap u see on egay...pretty dumb IMO and it doesnt even look good.

i think i opened up a can of worms by asking this question, but it bothers me to see hoods on that look stupid. can someone show me documented tests that this will actually improve air induction?!

i love all the replies that **** is funny . to the morons that think its jdm , it definatly isnt.

and yes it does let heat out i wouldnt do it otherwise. i can sit there and watch heatwaves pouring out after a race.
