Default more frustrating tranny problems

the tranny wont separate from the engine. i've taken all 3 mounts off...supported the engine with a jack under the oil pan...i've got a jack under the tranny and im trying to get the apart but they wont come apart. there is no space to a flat blade screw driver or pry bar in. where to start?

Try taking the starter off. It may be held onto the flywheel...

Sounds like a mess. Triple check your bolts are off. You may be better off pulling out the entire engine before you damage things prying on the tranny.

Maybe you missed disconnecting something?

There should be about 7 or 8 bolts total holdin the tranny. Did you get the one on the driver side that is somehwere above where the axel goes into the tranny? If you did the try rotating the tranny while pulling at the same time. It'll take some time and muscle but it will come out eventually.
