Honda Car Care Days, April 1 - April 30, 2006.
Whoo-hoo, on Thursday at 7:15am, I get to go find out all the stuff that is wrong with my car!! No, honestly, this is pretty cool of Honda.
It depends on the dealer if they decide to need an appointment or not. But take your realuts with a grain of salt because SOME dealers don't take this too seriousally and just check everything off as satisfacory or needs attention.
But 90% of your dealers are going to give your vehicle a fair assesment.

Call me a cynic, but I'd say that more than 10% would check items as "needing attention" solely to drum up business.
I would still do it, but my local dealer isn't on the list. The dealer from which I bought the car back in '98 is on the list, but he's 180 miles away (wanted a 5-speed, he was the first dealer out of five I had checked that had one).

Your right. That's the reason Honda came up with this in the first place! Now it really does depend on the integrity of the technician working on your car.
But I check "needs attention" if something could be done to the component or system to improve it's operation.

It was okay, the people at my dealership only quoted me on stuff that I already knew was wrong. At least they didn't try to screw me over.
