My EM1 Retrofit W/TL Projectors & DIY CTR Headlights
Includes:
- 00' Si Headlights
- 05' TL Projectors
- 05' TL Osram 4300K Bulbs
- JDM ITR HID Ballasts
- H4 Wiring Harness
- E46 3" Shrouds
- DIY CTR Hosuing
- Modded Projectors for Color
This project took me about like 24 hours of labor doing everything perfectly. Which includes Painting the shrouds with Dupont Clear Coat mixed W/Black and everything else. You can see how much purple and blue the cutoff has...I will get better cutoff pics once I find a spot to do so...

i think i did something wrong? nah just kidding it's TL Bi-Xenon's, thats for high beams...i had retrofitted tsx projectors before and sold them to get bi-xenons. it's badass man!
without it it'll look ugly...trust me

it's dupont nason clear coat (car paint) paid $80 for the gal of clear but i only used a few oz...i bought it because my friend and i are gonna paint a whole car soon.

Looks really close to CTR unlike other diy's, How did you mix the clear and black colors was this rattle can?
</TD></TR></TABLE>it's dupont nason clear coat (car paint) paid $80 for the gal of clear but i only used a few oz...i bought it because my friend and i are gonna paint a whole car soon.

1. spare set of 99+ headlights
2. use a heat gun to disassemble the lense from the housings
3. removed the silver shroud in the lense
4. clean the chrome shroud with prep-all to get it nice and clean to get it ready for the clear coat *absolutely no sanding at all because you want it to reflect like the ctr headlights*
5. mix the clear coat with the activator aka *hardener, reducer*, add a little black car paint into the clear to create a tint look.
6. spray the shrouds, wait for it to dry
7. remove the bowls from the housing
8. dremel the bowls so the projectors will fit
etc...LOL too much to type and i'm a lazy ****
