car idling up and down
Anything you've done leading up to this issue?
Why dont you try unplugging your IACV and see if that fixes it. Doing that is like you're going to time the car and if it idles ok like that I would clean out the IACV and then try again. That's a common problem w/ an easy fix.
If its not that I would pull the carpet back and double check to make sure you don't have a code. You may have one without a check engine light.

Check it for flashing. Also try resetting your ECU that may help. Pull the hazard fuse for 15 seconds or discconect your battery for a bit (if you dont mind loosing your radio presets). Disconnecting your battery will destory your long term map which may lead to a little performance difficulty though.
