Default could use some help please

hey guys i just got a cusco cooling plate, i put it on, removing the black bracket above the weather strip, lined the plate up with the latch and my hood will not close (stock hood) i slam it, nothing, lower it then press on it nothing, any ideas? sorry if youve already gone over this

wait a tick i just looked at the cooling plate post, am i supposed to tuck the cooling plate under the weather stripping "plate"

no it doesnt .. what dkim48 is wrong ... plate goes over the weather strip ...

mine cf and thicker than titan ...



im able to close the hood cuz i adjusted my hood latch

ok the p.o.s wont close, i put the weather strip on top, nothing, do you think its the hood latch if so, how do i go about adjusting it

just loosen 3 or 4 bolts so you can move the latch to profer height .... make sure the 2 rubber bump stop are not stopping the hood then adjust it properly so your hood doesnt vibrate ...

There's a couple 10mm bolts that hold the latch on.. and the holes are slotted.

adjusted the latch, put the plate on top of the weather strip and the hood closed on the first try, thanks again, greatly appreciated

if you were wondering 01 gpw, black and red interior, cusco cooling plate, cusco oil catch can, cusco strut bar(alum) cusco radiator cap, apex n1 exhaust, injen cold air(i know i know im working on changing it but bang for the buck i love it) i got the car january 06 bone stock 40k miles.
