Car: 01 Accord Sedan Cali Spec.
Problem:
-Steering wheel does not vibrate at any speed whatsoever.
-Loud Rubbing/Whirr noise as soon and is very noticeable as i reach 30 mph and noise increases in relation to speed.
-Only happens when driving straight forward or while turning in the left direction.
-Noise goes away once the wheel is turned to the right a little.
Things I have checked:
-Looked for any wear or rubbed out spots in both wheel wells. Nothing.
-CV's are fine, ball joints appear to be fine, no parts are loose.
-Rotated the tires and the noise is still there.
-Honda dealership says that it may be the wheel bearings but are going to charge $100+ just to check.
Guess would have to be wheel bearings but would it just be one side?
Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any guesses or help from you guys?

Get an alignment & Some new tires.. You might even need some new shocks cause your tires might be getting "chopped". Go to tire kingdom or your local tire shop & they will be able to tell you. I know you think its not the tires.. but you have no way of telling till you get it aligned.

Yeah, I kinda forgot to mention that the tires are new too. Alignment is still ok at the time they changed the tires.
Kinda still at square one now.

Id actually say either front wheel bearing or rear hub assy. becasue you says its not present when you turn right as you stated it only does it going straight or left turning. I believe others will most likely agree
what a total rip off ,, the dealer wants to charge you $ 100 just to diagnose it ???
hell all they got to do is to raise the car in the lift, have someone inside the car start ther car , put it in gear and accell and turn wheels rt or left, while another tech gets a stetescope and listens if the wheel bearing is noisy,,, 10-15 minutes tops.. from start to finish ,,
that should be free of charge , good customer relation, it will be easier to sell needed work afterward , ahy ahy ahy.. dealerships ...
And yes only 1 side wheel bearing can go bad ,, have seen it many many times
