Hey guys, my 91 rex's paint is looking dull. I was wondering what kind of product I should get to make the paint shine again without a new paintjob. Thanks

 

umm well buff it out ? some wax?

 

meguiar's paint cleaner works wonders! applies same as wax

I used mcguires 3 step on my motorcycle and it worked pretty good but thats pretty time consuming for a car.

No doubt about that. Friend of mine got some of that spray on/wipe off stuff from an auto parts store and it worked pretty good. Just make sure the car is really, really clean before you do that. that's what makes the mcguires system work well.

If its dirty, when it wears off you'll have an uglier car.

 

are you talking about the stuff in the maroon bottle? because when i used it im pretty sure it could have been covered in dried out cow **** and it would have taken it off.

 

Thats the stuff. And it does remove just about anything that you can get on your paint. Including the paint itself.

 

get the clay bar with the solution at your local parts store and then wax (paste rather than liquid) it. the clay bar deep cleans dirt in your clear cloat and leaves your car feeling super smooth.
